The Traffic Civil Guard of Cantabria has arrested a 62 year old manresident of Los Corrales de Buelna, as alleged perpetrator of a crime of falsifying a public document, for having someone else’s license plate on the motorcycle he was driving. In addition, he did not have a license or compulsory vehicle insurance.
As reported by the armed institute, the events took place on the afternoon of July 16, when agents carrying out a preventive control of alcohol and drugs on the CA-161 (Solares-La Cavada), at the entrance to La Cavada, gave the stop to a motorcycle. Once the driver had been identified and the tests under control had been carried out, which yielded a negative result, the agents checked the vehicle’s documentation, verifying that the license plate did not correspond to the chassis number on the motorcycle. Specifically, a license plate from another motorcycle of the same make and model had been installed.
The proceedings were forwarded to the Medio Cudeyo Guard Investigation Court. In addition, the agents filed two complaints against the detainee, for lacking a circulation permit and compulsory insurance.
