This Friday, August 14, 2020, the online press relayed, quoting the newspaper the observer, the information according to which “a prisoner was pregnant by a prison officer at the House of Arrest and Correction of Diourbel”.
The information given to justify the article “In the hell of the Diourbel remand center” is not well founded. This is a biased article, very equivocal and everything would suggest that the information provided is current.
The text relates facts yet to be verified which date from 2009 see 1995 to justify the title of his article. The Prison Administration is sorry for the inopportune treatment of prison information which is likely to compromise the security of penitentiary establishments and to discredit the penitentiary institution.
The Prison Administration would like to point out that in detention there is a clear separation between the different categories of detainees (men, women and minors). Finally, the Prison Administration reserves the right to take legal action against any malicious action.
