A permit has been issued for the construction of the S7 route near Krakow

Soon drivers will get from Warsaw to Krakow faster. Everything thanks to the new section of the S7 route. The Maopolska Voivode issues a decision on the permit for the implementation of a road investment on the section of the S7 expressway from the Widoma junction to the junction Krakw Nowa Huta. Four railroads will be built, including Mistrzejowice, to which the S52 Northern Bypass will be connected.

Apart from the expressway, there will also be gates, access roads and a five-kilometer viaduct. The investment also includes the reconstruction of the existing technical infrastructure (power lines, telecommunications lines, water pipes, sewage systems, etc.) and the construction of environmental protection devices (passages for animals, acoustic screens).

W Krakow the expressway shall have two carriageways with three lanes in each direction. Outside the city, there will be two roadways with two lanes each from the reserves to the third lane. 42 engineering structures will be built, including a 1.5 km long flyover. Establish four road authorities:

  • teach,
  • Raciborowice,
  • Krakw Mistrzejowice,
  • Krakw Grbaw.

The cost of the task is over PLN 1 billion, and the contractor will be Webuild SpA
