A new zero waste grocery store has just opened

To buy in bulk

Originally from Coulmiers, and coming from the world of the food industry, Christelle Sevestre no longer felt good about her activity and needed to find meaning, by making local products, organic, do it yourself (DIY) and by removing packaging.

It quickly became obvious to offer this personal concern on a larger scale.

After a market study carried out 30 km all around Orleans, she noticed that 25% of respondents were from Meung-sur-Loire and that there was a real expectation.

The Terra Vrac grocery store has since extended over 100 m of sales space, two reserves, and 30 m to carry out group workshops.

The confinement confirmed her in her choice to offer local and quality products, in bulk, whether sweet and salty dry groceries, condiments and spices, dairy products, fruits and vegetables, cosmetics, cleaning products, zero waste accessories and the bookstore corner.

In the first quarter of 2021, workshops will be launched. On the program, training courses to learn how to make cosmetics, household products, slow food cooking recipes, aromatherapy workshops. The workshops will be scalable, during the day or at the end of the day, with a rotating schedule.

They will be carried out by Christelle Sevestre or by external speakers, with prices ranging from 15 to 80 depending on the difficulty, the duration, and the raw material used.

Soon, and to resonate with the DIY product workshops, will also be on sale: surfactants, essential oils, hydrosols, wax, lime water, emulsifiers …
