For transfers under 1,500 euros, which customers must now make themselves, it will be necessary to justify the origin of the funds in the agency where he is domiciled. A documentary evidence must be presented for a sum between 1 501 and 10 000 euros. Beyond 10,000 euros, deposit is prohibited in cash. A system put in place to combat money laundering and fraud. La Banque Postale is one of the last to offer this service. Last year, she was sentenced to a record fine of 50 million euros for failing to observe due diligence.
