The price of gold soared in Egypt today, Sunday, as trading began, and the gram is up £8 from its trading level last night, setting a new record high.

Prices for 14-karat gold rose to £959 per gram.
The price of 18-karat gold has risen to £1,233 per gram.
The price of 21-karat gold jumped to £1,438 per gram.
And the price of 24-karat gold has risen to £1,643 per gram.
The price of the gold pound
The price of the gold pound has risen to 11504 pounds, and the price can vary from one dealer to another, and this price is equal to the value of the gold in the pound.
The global price of gold
Today is an official holiday on the world stock exchanges, to resume work tomorrow, Monday.
And the global price of gold recorded at the end of trading last Friday, the last session of the week, around 1755 dollars an ounce, with a slight drop of 0.02%, according to data from the Bloomberg agency.
