A neonatologist in the maternity ward on Vesela Street in Plovdiv was diagnosed with covid-19, a gynecologist from the same ward also showed signs and is still awaiting the result of the test. This was reported by Plovdiv24.bg Prof. Dr. Petar Petrov, the director of St. Mina Hospital, said that the neonatologist had been vaccinated with three doses and had already isolated herself at home, explained Dr. Petrov.
According to him, there are no sick patients in the ward and there is no danger for them. Anyone who wishes can do quick tests, which are completely free for both staff and patients.
Over 50% of the staff of the maternity ward at the hospital have been vaccinated, and the others are doing quick tests before work, said Prof. Dr. Petar Petrov.
