Standing member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, Ding Xuexiang, read a greeting from Xi Jinping, in which the Chinese leader pointed out that engineers are an important force that contributes to the prosperity of mankind and a better future. Engineers are an important part of the strategic personnel needed for the country’s development, Xi Jinping said, stressing that China should continue to improve its independence in training engineering personnel and raise their professional level, as well as create conditions for their training and work.
