A minor of one year dies in Patillas after being run over by her aunt

A minor of 1 year died this afternoon after being accidentally run over by her aunt, on the PR-758 road, in the Jacaboa neighborhood, in Patillas.

Police had initially reported that she had been the girl’s mother, but later corrected the information.

According to the preliminary report, the woman reversed in a car, did not notice the presence of the girl and ran over her. The incident was recorded at 3:00 pm

The minor resulted in serious injuries that caused her death.

Agents from the Patillas District preliminarily investigated the incident and referred the case to personnel from the Criminal Investigation Corps in the Guayama area.
