Death after a brutal beating in the street. The victim is a man from Petrich. Last Sunday, on one of the city’s central boulevards, he was the target of brutal aggression. Two men beat him with boxes, leaving him helpless, he said NOVA.
For a whole week the doctors fought for the life of Samuil Katsarski. Last night, however, it became clear that he had died. His death shocked Petrich, because everyone in the city knows him as a good and smiling man.
Hundreds gathered for a vigil at the place where Samuel was beaten.
“There are many versions of what happened. The only thing we know for sure is that he was brutally beaten. As a result of severe blows to the head, he fell into a coma. He fought for his life for a week,” said the brother of the deceased.
“I guess he knows the attackers because he is one of the people who knows everyone in town. They are said to have been drugged and drunk,” he added.
