A man in his forties was discovered injured, Friday July 15, in the evening, chaussée Jules-Ferry in Amiens. He was the victim of an assault with a sharp weapon.

This Friday, July 15, 2022, shortly after 11 p.m., a man of around 40 years old was attacked with a sharp weapon – most likely a knife – at chaussée Jules-Ferry in Amiens. The attack took place near the Blue Elephant car wash, where, on Tuesday evening, a pedestrian died after being knocked down.
According to initial findings, the victim suffered from several wounds, particularly on the face, and before the arrival of the firefighters, she had lost a lot of blood. The man was evacuated to the CHU Amiens-Picardie. For the time being, we do not know the reasons for this attack and whether the victim was taken to task by one or more people.
The police have opened an investigation. At this stage of the investigations, no element has been communicated, as to whether the perpetrator or perpetrators had been arrested.
