A Latvian musician loses three family members within six months

The hit musician Aigariņš or Aigars Ikšelis has spent the three closest people in his life for half a year, according to Gita Vīksne’s material “I am left alone in four walls” in the edition “Privāta Dzīve”.

In November last year, Aigariņš ‘wife Ilze passed away. The musician himself is blind and lives in an apartment in the apartment building of the Cēsis Blind Society.

Aigars’ brother passed away on May 20. As he says, everything fell and he went to his cousin’s funeral in early June.

The musician emphasizes that the only ray of light in all sorrow is that a brother who has had kidney problems no longer has to bother.

He emphasizes that once a week he receives help from the Latvian Samaritan’s Association, but he also does a lot – he can feed and take care of himself.

He hardly leaves the apartment and, as he says, his friends now have TVs and books.
