On Wednesday, a hundred soldiers from the Castelnau-le-Lez gendarmerie participated in this judicial operation. They were supported by mobile gendarmes from Nîmes and dog teams. The soldiers arrested eight people. They were all placed in police custody in the process.
Gold-casting tools, jewelry and cash seized
A large number of jewels, liquid silver, pure gold, tools for casting gold were discovered during the searches. Bank foreclosures were also carried out. The total amount is several hundred thousand euros. The investigations are continuing.
