The news about the new vocalist of Budka Suflera greatly surprised the fans of the legendary band. The longtime frontman Krzysztof Cugowski was replaced by actor and singer Jacek Kawalec. The debut of the new group leader on stage took place in Legnica during the 30th finals of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity.

On Saturday, the former host of “Dating in the dark” was a guest of “Dzień Dobry TVN”. Kawalec was asked by the hosts of the program, incl. just about the criticized performance. Kawalec admitted that he is aware of the not very positive reception of his vocal performance.

The singer explained that the reason for his stage failure was the lack of time for rehearsals, which, in his opinion, often takes place during the final concerts of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. However, he added that he would learn a lesson from this situation for the future.

It is known that the concerts of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity are governed by spontaneity. I pressed the gas pedal a bit too hard, but I know how to correct mistakes. It was a deep water throw for me – Kawalec told DDTVN.
