A health passport for those who received the Corona vaccine

The Saudi Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, announced that, in cooperation with the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence (SADAYA), a health passport service will be offered to those who received the emerging vaccine against the Corona virus.

In a press statement after receiving the second dose of the vaccine, Al-Rabiah said, “This step will provide a great service that the health authorities will benefit from in knowing who received the vaccine and being assured of achieving the targets.”

For his part, the Saudi Minister of Health thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, for their interest in providing Corona vaccines to citizens and residents, and their keenness to provide health care to everyone free of charge.

Yesterday, the Saudi Ministry of Health stressed the need to follow the measures to prevent Covid-19, represented in (wearing a mask, social distancing, registering for the Corona vaccine), in order to contribute to the elimination of the epidemic in the Kingdom.

It is worth noting that the vaccination campaign with the “Pfizer-Biontech” company vaccine started since last December in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to vaccinate the priority groups of the elderly and workers in occupations most vulnerable to infection with the virus.
