A four-year-old girl died of coronavirus in Antioquia

According to the most recent report from the Ministry of Health, a four-year-old girl died of coronavirus in Medellín.

The minor is part of the 428 fatalities left by COVID-19 in Antioquia.

  8. 28-year-old man from Medellín with diabetes and obesity
  9. 61-year-old man from Medellín in studio.
  10. 4-year-old girl from Medellín in studio.
  11. 64-year-old man from Medellín with hypertension.
  12. 78-year-old woman from Sopetrán with hypertension and COPD.
  13. Bello 70-year-old woman with diabetes and obesity.
  14. 51-year-old man from Medellín, under study.

Also, 1,617 new cases were reported in the department, 942 of them in Medellín.


With these figures, the number of infections in Antioquia amounts to 28,245.

The authorities insist on self-care, constant hand washing, the use of face masks and social distancing.

Due to the delicate situation in the department in the coming hours the hospital red alert would be decreed. Also, this weekend there is a strict quarantine in the Aburrá Valley.
