Following his request to suspend the process, FIFA announces a joint commission with CAF at the bedside of the IFF elections. It’s in a letter dated September 1st.
This commission will be responsible for hearing individually René Diby and the members of the Electoral Commission. Sidy Diallo and his Emergency Committee as well as Sam Etiassé, Executive Director of the FIF.
According to the composition of this FIFA-CAF committee, Rolf Tanner and Sarah Solemale from the world body. A representative of the Governance Commission of CAF, one of the administration of CAF and one of UFOA B. The names of the latter will be known later.
Suffice to say that the date of September 5 initially chosen for the elective General Assembly is no longer relevant.
