The A Day at the Park Mini festival sold out in minutes. On Friday the tickets went into presale and the enthusiasm turned out to be enormous. All tables were sold out in no time.

The modified edition of the festival became last week announced by organizer ALDA. For the event, the Kralingse Bos in Rotterdam will be set up on September 19 for a festival set up for the ‘new normal’. This gives visitors a private dance floor with table.

During the show, visitors can expect the setup of A Day at the Park, but in a cozy and intimate setting. Each group will have a personal dance floor with a table where snacks and drinks are served. Joris Voorn, Prunk and Baggi provide the music and visitors can win prizes during the Desperados Disco Bingo.

A Day at the Park mini-festival is divided into three shifts, with room for 250 people per shift. This complies with the RIVM measures and a distance of one and a half meters must be guaranteed. In this way, the organization wants to respond to the new situation and take the lead in a safe and responsible manner.

Anticipate the need

Allan Hardenberg, CEO of ALDA, is looking forward to welcoming hundreds of visitors to the park: “Nice to see that we are selling out so quickly with this new concept, it shows that after a long time of silence, the love for festivals is still there. is. We hope to continue to talk to municipalities and the government in order to be able to continue organizing these types of initiatives. From the creative industry the possibilities for organizing controlled parties are endless, we just need to be given that space. ”
