A CUB city elected first city in France to invest after COVID-19

Developed from the analysis of several million cross-tabulations, in particular with partial unemployment figures (by activity category in each city), this study measures the real estate consequences of the crisis on the most attractive cities in France. It also provides valuable recommendations to future buyers. Two classifications are proposed: one focused on a profile “ rental profitability “And the other on a profile” capital gain

Bruges f (or) ever

New Aquitaine occupies the first 3 places in the “added value” classification. Bruges comes in first place thanks to a stable post COVID position. Bordeaux finished second, gaining 6 points following the epidemic. Biscarosse is in third place after losing a place. This beautiful performance of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine does not, however, benefit all the cities in this region since Parempuyre (which is still located at 14th position), will probably have to manage a strong impact of the virus due to the large concentration of activities of the “trade” type locally. In contrast, Bruges benefits from a strong presence of public services, rather spared by the crisis.

Izon loses ground but still occupies the top of the ranking

In terms of profitability, the site distinguishes Angers (Pays de la Loire), Le Puy-Sainte-Reparade (Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur) and Déville-lès-Rouen (Normandy) that make up the top three in the ranking. The town of Izon, in New Aquitaine, ends 4th losing two places compared to the last report. The two classifications were made considering: addition of the partial unemployment rate + distribution of activities by municipality across France combined with data from Gridky criteria (rental profitability, rental security, potential for added value, ease of resale and attractiveness of the district).
