An invention that smells of eternity. After years of working as an assistant, Peggy wanted to change her life. She started her own proofreading and spelling proofing microbusiness. In parallel with her husband Philippe, they invented the application toodays.me. “We have searched the world for the points common to all humanity: we will all die; we all make memories; we all need to convey. We also have intense, rich lives, and we have a lot to tell, but everything is scattered on USB sticks, on our computers, on photo albums. The idea is to be able bring everything together in one place »says Peggy.
Photos, videos and the secret garden
To use Toodays.me, you must first download the application for free on his laptop. Then, you can upload memories of all kinds, as Peggy explains: “We post photos, videos and even audio comments, it’s nice to find the voices of missing people. They can also be written, our moods, and finally a secret part, where people put things they would like to share but only after disappearing. »
In order for our loved ones to receive our digital memories, we must declare these beneficiaries in the application and enter some of their information such as email or telephone number so that we can easily find them.
“Bringing from physical to digital”
But Peggy and her husband didn’t stop there. To advertise the Toodays.me application, they came up with another idea – to create a time capsule. It is a small box made from recycled oyster shells and fishing nets in Brittany. Peggy talks about her origin: “People needed something concrete and the idea was to bring the physical into the digital. » It is a vessel in which we put small items, little words that are close to our hearts, “and will make our loved ones smile as they open the capsule several years from now. There’s a pretty strong emotional side to it.”assures the Angevin.
This time capsule is available for pre-order until December 4th and must be marketed in concept stores and on the application website. This has already been downloaded more than 800 times.
