On Friday July 1, a 56-year-old man was taken into police custody in Bergerac (Dordogne) for acts of domestic violence. The man allegedly attacked his wife.

The police intervened at the request of neighbors of the couple who complained of screaming. The 52-year-old woman, who is said to be an alcoholic, is also on anxiolytics. She was hospitalized, but she would not have traces on the body.
