A construction company requests a license to build in the abandoned buildings of La Rúa | Radio Leon

Numbers 16, 18 and 20 of Calle La Rúa will come to life again. The current state of abandonment has the days numbered since a construction company has requested a license to demolish and build houses in these three buildings, one of which also has a facade towards the Plaza de San Marcelo, specifically, the one on the corner of the New Industrial Recreation.

The project must first go through the heritage commission that must decide, according to the degree of protection of each building, the elements to be conserved in them. In any case, once the Heritage Committee makes a pronouncement, the León City Council will process the licenses so that, as soon as possible, the image of current deterioration changes completely.
