A case of Covid-19 has been confirmed among the staff of a school in Bordeaux, confirmed the ARS Nouvelle-Aquitaine in “South West” this Sunday. People in direct contact with the person who tested positive were placed in fortnight.

It would be a private educational institution. It will remain closed on Tuesday September 1, the first day of school, and the following days, so that all staff can be tested. If conditions allow, the opening could take place on Monday, September 7 on “the manager’s timely decision”, specifies the ARS.
According to information from “Sud Ouest”, less than a dozen schools in the region could delay their return to school and be temporarily closed for health reasons due to Covid cases declared among their staff.
