A new film from the well-known American series American Pie will be appearing on our screens soon, but it’s probably not what fans were hoping for.
While this series is well known for its very (or too) “masculine” concept, this new opus will have as a cast almost entirely made up of young women. Yes, the famous Stifler (Old William Scott), Jim (Jason Biggs) and Michelle (Alyson Hannigan) will not be in the game. Rather than taking the original characters, the creators preferred to invent new characters while giving a more feminine flavor to the feature film. The film will therefore be the story of four young women named Annie, Kayla, Stephanie and (another) Michelle, embodied respectively by Madison Pettis, Piper Kurdish, Lizze Broadway and Natasha Behnam. The production, however, promises a most festive atmosphere and naughty adventures. So she wants to keep the original concept of the series American Pie while modernizing it somewhat.
However, this is not unanimous. This new opus is far from everyone’s business. As soon as the trailer was posted on the web, Internet users were quick to share their mixed opinions in the comments on YouTube. One can read, among others, the following comments: ” Nobody wanted this “And” It’s not American Pie without Jim’s father “. Like what fans of the successful series are more disappointed than anything else …
However, it will be necessary to wait until October 6 to view American Pie Presents : Girls’ rules on DVD and a few more weeks to make it available in the Netflix catalog.
