In the area of the Safari Park Dvůr Králové, a young amphibian hippopotamus was born in front of visitors. For the first time, this happened directly in the large lake of the summer exhibition. The animals have so far given birth in the winter and in the background. Everything went quickly and without problems, but the breeders do not know the sex yet. Mona’s mother pushed the young from the depths onto the sand, where she kept him away from the others.
