KOMPAS.com- Departure Hendry Jovinski (25), a General Election Commission (KPU) staff Yahukimo left deep sorrow for his family.
Unexpectedly, Hendry goes by being stabbed by a stranger.
With a sad face, his father Sugeng Kusharyanto asked for justice.
He said it was impossible for the family to directly avenge their son’s death to the perpetrator.
“I want to be thoroughly investigated, whoever the perpetrator is arrested, if it is proven that he has given the appropriate punishment for his actions, we cannot possibly avenge the death of our child,” said the father.
Assigned to Yahukimo a year ago
Launch Tribun Jogja, Hendry registered as ASN KPU RI in 2018.
His son, who was born on June 4, 1995, began to be assigned to Yahukimo, Papua a year ago, namely since 2019.
“The 2018 test was then accepted in June 2019. When he was placed in Yahukimo, he was happy he didn’t complain. He didn’t mind. He wanted to contribute his knowledge there,” recalled Sugeng.
In fact, said Sugeng, Hendry himself chose the location for assignment in Papua.
“When registering, he chose Papua as the location of his assignment, Hendry himself worked as an IT worker there,” he said.

Although the family was worried because their son was placed in Papua, Hendry apparently did not.
In fact, Hendry once dreamed of writing a book about the experience of working in Papua.
“I suggest Henry to record and record what happened there,” he said.
To him, his son was a good boy. “Hendry is also an idealistic child,” the father recalled the figure of his son.

Moreover, Hendry died because he was stabbed and killed by someone who is still wanted.
Intrigued by the death of the child, the family continues to try to find out. Even though so far they get more information through social media.
“I was able to ask the details of the incident that happened to Henry to KPU Secretary Yahukimo, but he did not dare to explain in detail,” said Sugeng.
“We just want to question, what was the intention (of the perpetrator) to injure and finish off my son,” he said, as quoted from the news. Tribun Jogja.
Sugeng really wanted to know why his son was attacked.
“My son does not determine the winner of the Pilkada or determines who will be accepted as a legislative candidate. His signature is not needed. Because as an IT person, he is only behind the scenes,” said Sugeng.

He hopes that the culprit is found and punished accordingly.
“Nothing more, just asking for justice. The perpetrator of Hendry’s abuse was immediately given punishment accordingly, intentionally or unintentionally (when carrying out the abuse),” he said.
Hendry’s body was flown from Papua to Yogyakarta to be buried in Yogyakarta on Thursday (13/8/2020).

Ditikam was asked for ID card

The man in striped trousers and dreadlocks was holding a sharp weapon.
Before stabbing Hendry suddenly, the perpetrator asked where the victim was and his ID card.
Hendry was stabbed to death by more than one person.
Currently, the police are pursuing the perpetrators.
