It occurred at 12.44 hours GMT (9.44 hours in Argentina), and the epicenter was located in the city of Gazipasa, referenced the Sputnik agency.

“According to preliminary data, the earthquake has not had any negative impact,” the agency said.

For its part, the NTV television channel reported that in the city of Antalya, where the aftershocks were also felt, the earthquake did not cause injuries or material damage either.

On October 30, at least 39 people died and hundreds were injured after a strong earthquake that struck the Aegean coast between Turkey and the Greek island of Samos.

The epicenter of the 7-magnitude earthquake was located off the province of Izmir, in Turkey, and was also felt in Athens and Istanbul, the most populous cities in Greece and Turkey, respectively. (Télam)
