On the night of Monday 13th to Tuesday 14th December, a spectacular theft occurred in the company Merdrignac Levage located in Noyal-sur-Vilaine, near Rennes. A 48-ton mobile crane was stolen while in a company security site. The business manager lodged a complaint on Tuesday with the Châteaubourg gendarmerie brigade. It is the Vitré gendarmerie company which is in charge of the investigation.
The investigation has only just begun but many questions remain, in particular on the thieves’ modus operandi and the particular conduct of this blue machine, the color of the company, which does not go unnoticed.
