A 20-year-old student from Chios, hospitalized at the ENT Clinic of the University General Hospital of Ioannina since 5/9, with tonsillitis collapsed and died today, Wednesday.
With no medical history the unfortunate girl died completely suddenly and this was discovered when she was found on the CT scanner. There, according to information, it was found that the heart was not working and the contrast agent administered to the girl did not circulate.
The matter is judged to be particularly serious and the atmosphere is particularly heavy at the University Hospital of Ioannina, for fear that serious medical errors have been made in the handling of the incident since the first day of the unfortunate girl’s hospitalization.
