Tottenham Hotspur player Eric Dyer said his team has real depth in their squad this season, but that the busy schedule will be a tough test and clear the way for thinking about the health of the players.
Tottenham, who lost 1-0 to Everton in the opening league on Sunday, may play nine home matches in three weeks.
“I think we have great depth in our squad,” Dyer added.
“But if we look at the table it shows no concern for the players’ physical health. Is it logical to ask players to play on Sunday, then Tuesday, then Thursday, Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday?
He continued, “It seems that there is no interest in the health of the players in these circumstances.”
