BEVERWIJK – The Bazaar in Beverwijk has already lost four million euros due to the corona crisis. “This cannot be done in the long term. We feel surprised by the forced closure of two weeks ago, ”said spokesman Mariska Roos of de Bazaar. The market halls were allowed to reopen on Saturday after approval of a safety plan. To the dismay of the shopkeepers and stallholders, the buyers kept away en masse.
