The Syracuse Public Prosecutor’s Office also ordered the arrest of the 23-year-old mother of the 21-month-old child who died yesterday in the hospital of Modica, in the Ragusa area, and who had injuries on his body. Last night the woman’s partner, a 32-year-old who is not the baby’s father, was stopped by the police. Against them the Prosecutor assumes the crimes of voluntary homicide and mistreatment in the family. The two were taken to prison by agents of the Modica police station who are investigating.
