OnePlus Nord will go to Poland immediately after the premiere. The smartphone can tempt with an extremely low price and in my opinion it steals the title of the coolest average of 2020, and yet we have only July. How much can it cost in Poland?
I rarely jump into the so-called hype train before the premiere of anything and at the same time I almost never buy anything in advance. In case of OnePlus North I’m going to break both of these rules because it’s the more reasonable smartphone you can wait for this year. It will not be the best at all – only sensible.
Before I go into my thoughts on this model, this is important information that we all expected – OnePlus Nord will go to Poland. It is interesting that for now the distribution is to be limited to Europe and India, and other markets will have to wait.

Honestly, it’s after the first episode New Beginnings I’m not even surprised – the name Nord does not come from nowhere, and India is the most important market for OnePlus, where it divides and rules.

The second thing is the price. In this case, we are dealing with somewhat contradictory – and more ridiculous – official information. One comes from the OnePlus India survey and indicates that the cheaper Nord variant is expected to cost around $ 300. Remember, however, that OnePlusy in India is slightly cheaper than in other markets.
In said document New Beginnings OnePlus co-founder confirms that Nord will cost less than $ 500. In my opinion, this is only an indication of the price shelf (in some markets the sub-$ 500 is a definition of the average price shelf), not an indication that Nord will cost $ 499. The next few weeks will show who is right.
What price should we expect in Poland? In my opinion, it is PLN 1699 for the 6 GB RAM variant and PLN 150 more for the 8 GB RAM version (if any at all). If we add a 90 Hz screen to this, it will be unrivaled in this shelf. This is the first, optimistic scenario.
Pessimistic is that the smartphone will actually cost $ 499. Then, using the converter that was used to determine the Polish price of OnePlus 8 Pro, we get the amount of 2350 zlotys – still ridiculously low, considering the prices not only of this year’s flagships, but also average in the style of LG Velvet or Oppo Reno 3 Pro.

Who will OnePlus Nord be for?
Let’s move on to the second, more official part of the information. What was the idea behind the creation of OnePlus Nord? In the material, Carl Pei (co-founder of OnePlus) pointed to the features that are to be the biggest advantages of the smartphone.
The first one is to be a camera, which is hardly a surprise. Given the direction in which the manufacturer has developed in recent years, it is the photographic background that is to determine the strength of OnePlus Nord. However, it won’t have an easy task, because Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite and Oppo Reno 3 are great competitors at this price.
The second aspect with which the producer has hopes is the community. In short – OnePlus believes that users want to buy their smartphones just because they are OnePlus. And basically I am able to believe it, because OnePlus is a synonym of smoothness and great overlay, adorned with long and quick update support.
For now, OnePlus Nord promises to be my favorite smartphone this year – which probably means that after the premiere (or purchase, which I seriously plan) I will be disappointed or delighted with it. It can’t be anything in between and I missed that feeling on the smartphone market.
