In a radio interview with Ciro Gómez Leyva, he pointed out that the fact of not having first-hand information and not knowing what they are doing, was why the decision was made.
““ There came a time when I was no longer being listened to, fundamentally the family. I no longer had contact with Emilio’s dad.
“Time, the facts, will tell who is right about all this, how good it is that the end of all this is reached, how good it is clarified and how good it is to combat corruption with force and decision,” he said.
He noted that as a lawyer, he did everything in his power legally to defend him.
“I play a single deck, I do not like to play several, it is my obviously agreed decision with Emilio,” he said.
Regarding the new defense of the former Pemex head, Coello Trejo commented that he is ready to deliver the documentation he has and that he knows that he will be defended by “a doctor Oliveros”.
