FC Aarau fans fight with Servette Supporters in Neuchâtel – Regional Sports (AZ) – Sports

There was a fight between supporters of Aarau FC and fans of Servette on Saturday evening. Around 40 people attacked each other at 9:30 p.m. in the Neuchâtel train station, as the Neuchâtel canton police wrote in a message.

When the Geneva fans boarded the special train after the Super League game against Neuenburg Xamax (2-1 for Servette), the regular train stopped at the station, which transported Aarau fans from Nyon. These threw objects against the Geneva special train. Finally, the fan camps beat up on the platforms and the tracks.

The police officers present immediately intervened and used pepper spray. Then the violent went back to their respective trains. Rail traffic was interrupted for around 15 minutes.

An investigation is now underway to determine the people involved in the fight. The Neuchâtel police are looking for witnesses who can provide pictures of the fight (Police[email protected]). (MWA)
