The first Danish IKEA Jysk store opens in Russia

The first Danish furniture retailer Jysk store opened on June 3 in Moscow at the Troika shopping center and on an online platform. In the new store, all safety precautions have been observed: marking on the floor to maintain a distance of 1.5 m, sanitizers at the entrance, masks and gloves for all staff.

Until June 24, the store has discounts up to 50% for mattresses, garden furniture and garden products, and prices for sofas and wardrobes are reduced by 30%. In addition, if within 30 days the purchased product falls into stock, the buyer can return the difference in price.

The largest retailer in Denmark announced its entry into the Russian market in February 2020. It was planned to open the first two stores in Moscow (in the Troika shopping center and in one of the buildings of the Altufevo commercial and industrial zone). Now the company plans to open at least 10 stores each year, starting in Moscow and the region.
