Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —
Verrell Bramasta reveals the moments when he knew his mother, Venna Melindabeing a victim of domestic violence (domestic violence) by Ferry Irawan. At that time he was in Japan with his father, Ivan Fadillah.
“Still surprised because the first time I heard this story I was in Japan. It was really early in the morning and I wanted to get ready to go,” said Verrell at his residence, as reported detikcomFriday (13/1).
He revealed that he should still be in Japan for about two more days. However, Verrell and Ivan immediately decided to find tickets so they could return to Indonesia as soon as possible to meet Venna.
“That should still be two days away, when I heard the news, I immediately looked for a ticket so I could go home.”
While traveling from Japan to Indonesia, then continuing to Surabaya, Verrell revealed that he received a lot of advice from his biological father, Ivan Fadillah.
He was given advice to keep a cool head. Verrell was outspoken about revenge against Ferry Irawan, which had crossed his mind.
“That’s a natural feeling (want to beat back), which child can bear to see his mother like that,” admitted Verrell.
“I’m just saying, I talked to Papa, I think Papa gave very wise input, I think it’s true, why punch punch, invite fights. Anyone can, if I want to meet, hit it right away or is it easy, who Don’t fight,” he said.
Therefore, Verrell tried to put aside his emotions and feelings in order to prioritize his mother. The thought of getting back at Ferry was not his focus at the moment.
“It’s just that (revenge) isn’t important, the most important thing is that mom is done, mom is fine, mom can be happy again, healthy again, and can focus on that first,” said Verrell.
“That business (retaliating for Ferry Irawan’s actions) is a matter of later, if there’s nothing wrong with it, we’re definitely ready to put up our bodies to take care of Mama,” Verrell Bramasta emphasized.
