Egypt’s Public Prosecutor’s Office has launched an investigation after accusing a famous doctor of performing abortions in a famous center in Giza, and of burning fetuses in a barrel on the center’s roof or throwing them to dogs.
Investigations by the Giza Investigation Department confirmed that a gynecologist, owner of a famous center in Kerdasa, performed abortions in collaboration with 5 other people, and got rid of the fetuses by burning them and throwing some to the dogs.
A special center for abortions
It turned out that the medical center is run by a 45-year-old gynecologist and obstetrician from Oseem hospital who owns the center in Kumbrah village in Kerdasa.
After presenting the matter to the judicial authority and codifying the procedures, a campaign was set up in collaboration with Free Therapy, aimed at the center, and the doctor, pharmacist, worker, nurse and ‘worker.
A barrel containing embryos
The search team also inspected the place and found a barrel on the roof with traces of burns inside, 3 fetuses in a state of charring, and a quantity of “Tramadol” tablets was also seized.
3 women were arrested with their husbands for cesarean delivery and another case, an 18-year-old student, was arrested, accompanied by her mother, after miscarrying during a two-month pregnancy.
