Pfizer and its German partner BioNTech sued Moderna in federal court in Boston on Monday over patents related to their competing coronavirus vaccines.
Moderna filed a lawsuit against Pfizer in August, accusing it of infringing on its rights to 3 patents related to innovations Moderna claimed it achieved before the Corona pandemic.
Moderna also filed a related lawsuit against Pfizer and BioNTech in Germany. The three companies are also embroiled in US patent disputes with other vaccine companies.
