For 34 years, the 1is December is known to be World AIDS Day. If in the 90s and 2000s prevention campaigns and media presence were almost daily, for several years now therapeutic advances have meant that AIDS and the research that is being done around this disease is less commonly talked about. Yet the search never stopped. And at the University of Rouen Normandy, professors-researchers Jean-Christophe Plantier and Manuel Etienne and their teams continue to work regularly on the HIV virus. We met with them to discuss the matter.
