Berlin. The driver of a moped car crashed into a traffic light pole in Berlin-Niederschöneweide and died. According to the police, three other people were injured, including a pedestrian who had to be treated in hospital.
The driver lost control of the vehicle on Wednesday morning, a police spokeswoman said. Rescue workers freed him, but he died despite attempts to revive him. The cause of the accident on the Schnellerstrasse near the Schöneweide S-Bahn station is still unclear.
