Faced with the spread of the Monkeypox virus (monkey pox), the High Health Authority recommended the implementation of preventive vaccination for those most at risk of exposure, indicates the ARS. These are people who have frequent multi-partner sex, sex workers and professionals working in places of sexual consumption.
The proposed vaccination is covered by health insurance and requires making an appointment in advance. All vaccination locations can be viewed on the ARS Paca website. In our department there are vaccination centers in Marseille (6), Aix and Martigues.
