It’s exciting, of course, to see Square Enix re-exploring their old franchises. We finally see a game like Front Mission resurrecting, even though it’s still in the form of a remaster or remake project. For lovers of more classic JRPGs, there was joy when Square Enix finally introduced the newest series from the Valkyrie franchise – Valkyrie Elysium some time ago. Even though it counts as a spin-off, the new trailer still looks stunning.
Not done by tri-Ace, but by Soleil who positioned this series as a spin-off, Square Enix finally released the latest trailer for Valkyrie Elysium. You will see the action of the main character – Valkyrie who is still on an adventure to collect the Einherjars in a gameplay that does have a thicker taste of action. The Valkyrie is also the final attack “Nibelung Valesti” which seems to be nostalgic for gamers who love this franchise. He has also been seen fighting a black-clad Valkyrie who is most likely Hrist.
What’s interesting about the Valkyrie Elysium also comes from its sales bonuses. For gamers who are interested in buying the Digital Deluxe Edition version on the Playstation 4 and Playstation 5 versions, they will also get the game Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth which was released for the PSP in the past. This port will come with new features such as Rewind, Quick Save, and also Visual Presets.
Valkyrie Elysium itself is planned to be released on September 29, 2022 for Playstation 4 and Playstation 5, and followed by a new PC version that will get it on November 11, 2022 after that. What do you think? Looks interesting?
