JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas) launched Oily namely simple bulk packaged oil products in Jakarta, Wednesday (6/7/2022).

This Oilita is a continuation of the previous program, namely People’s Bulk Cooking Oil aka MGCR. Zulhas said the product had been registered and had a distribution permit.

Zulhas said that the difference between MGCR and Oilita only lies in the cooking oil packaging which is stronger and neater. He ensures that the future of Oilita products will have better, stronger, and neater packaging.

“This is a simple package, some can use a bottle, also Rp. 14,000, or if it is packaged like this it can go to supermarkets. Previously, if the stalls in the market accepted, supermarkets could get dirty,” he explained.

Previously, Zulhas claimed that the price of bulk cooking oil in a number of areas in Indonesia had reached Rp. 14,000 per liter. However, he admits that there are also areas where the price of cooking oil is more than Rp 14,000 per liter.

“You can check that Java, Bali is already Rp. 14,000, Sumatra is Rp. 14,000. Indeed, it is far more expensive. Papua, Tarakan, Maluku, there are still Rp. 20,000, but Java, Bali, Sumatra, Kalimantan and parts of Sulawesi are Rp. 14,000,” said Zulkifli when met at Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Tuesday (5/7/2022).
