JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The chairman of the Democrat Party’s Election Supervisory Body, Andi Arief, also responded to the statement of the Secretary General (Sekjen) of the PDI-P or PDIP Hasto Kristiyanto.
It is known, Hasto said that it was difficult for his party to form a coalition with two political parties, namely the Democratic Party and the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS).

On Hasto’s statement, Andi Arief admitted that he did not expect Hasto to say that.
In his view, Andi Arief said the PDI-P should not differentiate its stance from other parties.
“PDIP does not want to form a coalition with the Democrats and PKS, of course it collides with what we imagine,” Andi said in a statement on Thursday (23/6/2022).

Andi Arief said he imagined PDIP could practice tolerance and not be discriminatory with other political parties.
“Frankly, we are imagining that PDIP will fully practice tolerance, non-discrimination and mutual cooperation in building such a large country,” Andi said.
Andi claims that the Democratic Party will not show an attitude like the PDIP, which has openly stated that it will not form a coalition with certain political parties.
