Alexander Blessin has become the new coach of the Italian football club FC Genoa. The 48-year-old German replaced Andriy Shevchenko, who stayed on the bench for only two months. The AP agency informed about it.
Genoa’s management bought Blessin from Ostend, Belgium, with which he had a valid contract. His primary goal will be to save FC Genoa in Serie A. Currently, the team ranks penultimate 19th place with a six-point loss in seventeenth Venice.
