SpaceX Launches 49 Starlink Internet Satellites into Space

AMERICARoket SpaceX Falcon 9 re-launch the Starlink satellite into orbit. This time, one of the world’s largest rocket companies sent a rocket in two stages with a total of 49 Starlink satellites.

The first rocket took off from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida Tuesday (18/1) at 21:02 local time.

About nine minutes later, the rocket’s first stage descended to Earth and landed squarely on the SpaceX drone, A Shortfall of Gravitas, off the Florida coast of the Atlantic Ocean.

While the second stage, Falcon 9 rocket accelerated into orbit and finally deployed the satellite approximately 15 minutes after launch.

This launch marks SpaceX’s 36th special Starlink mission and brings the total number of Starlink satellites to over 2,000.

All of the spacecraft have been launched since May 2019 except for two prototypes known as TinTin A and TinTin B, which lift off in February 2021.
