According to director Agnes Kant, this is not immediately a cause for concern for the women concerned. “There are quite a few reports, but menstrual disorders are common at all.”
Menstrual disorders are often temporary, she says. “Many factors can affect your period. An infection, stress or the flu. Your immune system and hormones can respond to the vaccine.” She emphasizes that the vaccine does not increase the risk of miscarriage. “Miscarriages are always there, but they are no more than normal now.”
