On the Fastov-Zhitomir section there was an accident at a railway crossing. A John Deere combine was hit by a passenger train.
This was reported by the press service “Ukrzaliznytsia”.
The accident happened on October 11 at 15:12. According to preliminary information, the driver of the harvester ignored the traffic rules and drove to an unregulated crossing, where at that time the passenger train # 141 Bakhmut – Lvov was approaching.

What about the passengers?
As a result of the collision damaged train locomotive and six carriages… But the passengers and the train crew were not injured. The driver of the harvester refused hospitalization.
Passengers from the carriages, in which the windows were broken from the collision, were transferred to other seats on the train.
The police are working on the spot, and due to investigative actions the train was delayed by 2 hours 28 minutes… There were no delays on other flights.
