LONDON, KOMPAS.TV British Special Forces SAS called their departure from Afghanistan something of a disgrace.

One of the reasons for this frustration was that the Afghan troops they trained had been defeated and wiped out by the Taliban.

This was revealed by a source who said several senior officials who were not assigned reported dereliction of duty.

This happened after several SAS members got WhatsApp from Afghan special forces asking for help.

The Afghan forces claimed to have been hunted down and killed by the Taliban.

“I got a message from the soldier I worked with. One said something like ‘where are you? Why leave us?’ While others asked for assistance to be sent,” he said, quoted from Mirror.

“I do not believe we left them. This is very embarrassing. They are very brave and individuals who are able to do many things, “he added.

The source revealed that the troops he had trained would not survive, because the Taliban knew where they and their families lived.

The source said many Afghan special forces and anti-terror police have been killed since Britain and the US left Afghanistan.
